57 taxis has been established for around 25 years, begining life as Ken's cars then becoming known as the five seven group.
And 57 taxis limited as it is now with lots of smaller office incorporated to make it what is now the biggest and best computer office in Hull.
Over the last 18 months we have upgraded our system to the best available in our field at all of our offices, moving from the dos system to windows xp. Moving to windows opened a huge door for 57 Taxis allowing us to link all our remote offices to the main office via Broadband with 8 mg it gives us the speed needed to operate more efficiently.
With the help of Kingston Communications we upgraded our telephone system from the Imagination System to the BCM System, this allows us to move away from analogue lines to digital and instead of lines we now have channels, each channel is capable of holding between 1 & 30 lines. We now operate over 19 channels to cover the volume of work.
Our telephone and broadband systems are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week and should there be a problem Kingston Communications know before we do and resolve the problem promptly. Having the new BCM telephone system installed gave Autocab who are the world leaders in this field the opportunity to supply 57 Taxis with the best and most up to date technology available to make us one of the leading private hire companies in the Hull and East Riding area.
